We are looking for you

Junior penetration tester

We are looking for an open-minded personality who is constantly interested in learning new things, who is open to innovation and who would like to help shape Cybersec-ng. You are a web developer, IT admin, student, career changer or have similar experience or qualifications in a technical environment. You are enthusiastic about offensive IT security and you want to take your first steps into the IT security scene, then you have come to the right place.

Your skills

  • You have basic technical training or comparable experience.
  • You have basic knowledge of Penetration Testing (networks, web applications), qualifications or you learn quickly and with pleasure.
  • Basics in scripting languages ​​e.g. Python, Ruby, PHP, Powershell
  • Linux shell is not a foreign word for you.
  • First experiences with common Penetration Testing tools like Metasploit, Sqlmap, etc.
 

Your tasks

  • Carrying out various Penetration Tests together with one of our Senior tech. Security Consultants
  • Further education
  • Reporting. Don't worry, we have an engine
  • Participation in customer presentations
  • Support of the Penetration Testing team

What you can expect from us

We take care of our Juniors and provide you with a Senior Penetration Tester (coach) right from the start, who will help you with induction, further training and promotion. At the beginning you will only carry out Penetration Tests in cooperation with our mentor until you have developed the necessary skills. With your promotion you will not only get a better salary but also dedicated research time.

Penetration Tester

We are looking for a Penetration Tester who has 1-3 years of experience. You are well versed in the topics of web applications and network services. You want to reach the next level, train yourself and do research. Offensive Security inspires you and you are able to work independently.

Your skills

  • You have basic technical training, bachelor's degree, comparable experience or qualifications.
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in Penetration Testing.
  • You are familiar with Penetration Testing of web applications and networks.
  • You are fluent in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Go, PHP, etc.).
  • You are familiar with at least one Linux operating system (Ubuntu, Debian, Kali, etc.).
  • You have mastered most of the common Penetration Testing tools such as Metasploit, Sqlmap, etc.
 

Your tasks

  • Carrying out various Penetration Tests together with one of our Senior tech. Security Consultants.
  • Further education
  • Research
  • Reporting. Don't worry, we have an engine.
  • Final presentation to the customer after completing a Penetration Test.
  • You accompany our sales department occasionally in sales discussions and take over the technical part.
  • You support the Junior and Senior Penetration Testers

What you can expect from us

We take you to the next level and offer research and / or training opportunities. You will also benefit from the experience and know-how of our Senior Penetration Testers, one of whom will be your mentor. Occasionally, you will take on the technical lead for Penetration Tests and, if you wish, you can also gain initial project management experience.

Senior Penetration Tester

We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester with at least 5 years of experience. You take on the technical lead for projects, accompany our Juniors, communicate with customers and conduct research. You have in-depth know-how in various Penetration Testing disciplines and are ready to share your knowledge with the team. In addition, you actively contribute to the further development of Cybersec-ng.

Your skills

  • You have basic technical training, bachelor's degree, comparable experience or qualifications.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in penetration testing.
  • You have mastered most of the common penetration testing disciplines (web applications, web services, networks, mobile applications, source code reviews, etc.).
  • You are fluent in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Go, PHP, etc.).
  • You are familiar with at least one Linux operating system (Ubuntu, Debian, Kali, etc.).
  • You have experience in the technical management of projects and small teams.
  • You are resilient and maintain an overview even in hectic situations.

Your tasks

  • You will take on the technical lead for Penetration Testing projects and lead smaller teams.
  • You communicate with the customer and hold kick-off meetings and final presentations.
  • You actively contribute to the further development of our services.
